A Selection of Occult and Pagan
Resources in Printby Ben Gruagach
Like many modern Wiccans, Witches, and Pagans, I'm a book nut. Over the years I've accumulated a number of interesting books on all sorts of topics, many which are explicitly occult or Pagan, others not necessarily targeted at occultists or Pagans but of interest to them regardless.
I've catalogued my occult library in a database program called Readerware which allows me to record comments and ratings of the books as well as other interesting details. I've managed to add ratings and comments to some of the books in the database but still have a lot to catch up on. The lists here will be updated as I get more comments and ratings added. Of course, the ratings and comments are merely my own opinions as a Wiccan and as a reader. Others will undoubtedly disagree with some of my decisions.
See the booklist sorted by ratings, with the highest rated books listed first. Unrated books are listed after those with ratings. Within each rating group books are sorted alphabetically by author and then by book title.
See the booklist sorted by category, based on my own thoughts whether a book is for general Reference, an Introductory book, or Intermediate to Advanced. Books are sorted within each category alphabetically by author and then by title.

The lists will be updated as I get more info entered into Readerware, so be sure to check back in a month or so!
I'm also trying out a new online system for sharing book recommendations. Click here to see this alternate listing. Unfortunately they don't currently have a way to add multiple books at once so the content will build up rather slowly. If they add a bulk-import method then I might switch the booklist to use this new system as it's easier to use to sort the results, have everyone add comments and ratings, etc. For now it's just a beta test for me though.
And, as always, most of the books can be purchased through Amazon.com
