About Ben G.
Merry meet! My Craft name is Ben Gruagach, and I run WitchGrotto. I was born on February 9th, 1967. I’ve been actively practicing witchcraft (actually an eclectic form of Wicca) since I was in my early teens. I am a Canadian and live in Oakville, Ontario Canada with my sweetheart, our two sons, and a rather demanding cat. We lived in the USA from Hallowe’en 2001 through July 2008. We lived in Glendale, Arizona for a while and then in Eden Prairie in Minnesota before moving back to Canada.

(By the way, gruagach is pronounced as either”grew-ghee” or “grew-gac” – it’s a type of fairy that tends to be a bit on the hairy side. They’re sort of like brownies according to some stories. Ben is a modification of ban, which means “pale.” In other words, I’m a fair-skinned fuzzy elf!)
