great video: Sita Sings the Blues
Author: Ben GruagachThis morning I downloaded and watched “Sita Sings the Blues” from Google video. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s basically a retelling of the Indian story of Rama and his devoted wife Sita. Rama was the protagonist of his story (the Ramayana) but it’s clear that Sita is the real hero, at least in this retelling.
